Objectives and results of the action
Objective of the workshop: The purpose of this workshop is to build and strengthen the capacity of the participants and to increase their awareness of the potential impact of using digital tools and IoT in agriculture
Main results expected
– The seminars aim to understand the needs of the parties in terms of how a Digital Agriculture Project should be implemented and to better adapt to their expectations.
– Farmers and entrepreneurs in agriculture will be made aware of the advances in digitization technology in agriculture and awareness of the advantages of precision agriculture and the need for technical assistance.
– The aim of the seminars is for the actors involved to identify the most suitable pilot projects that promise to be more applicable in the horticultural and vegetable sub-sectors.
– Two pilot models of IoT technology installation projects in orchards and greenhouses.
– A proposal for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for the inclusion of Digital Agriculture projects in support schemes. Manual with information on the types of Digital and IoT in agriculture
