Implementation of the Coaching for Employment and Entrepreneurship and Microbusiness Mentoring
approaches under “New Perspectives” (NP) Project in Kukës County and Dibra Municipality

 

1.1 C4EE Coaching for employment and entrepreneurship.
This includes the following elements:

1.1.1 Capacity building activities:
The parties agree on the participation of 5 (five) employees of the partner organization in the training blocks and peer exchange activities organized and
implemented by Swisscontact – New Perspectives. These activities aim to increase the professional capacities of the employees of the partner organization, offer coaching of coaches, follow up the activity progress and improve the exchange between coaches of different NGOs, to accompany and integrate young
person’s and other categories in need towards labor market insertion process.

 

1.1.2 Implementation of the coaching cycles processes:
Based on the skills gained during the training of coaches and experience of the partner, the trained employees (the coaches) of the partner organization will work with unemployed young individuals (including returnees and vulnerable communities) to support the development of their self, social, methodological, and occupational competences and empower them to successfully enter the world of work. These individuals are referred to as participants.

1.1.3 Cooperation with private sector companies:
As an additional element of implementation of the methodologies, component of social and economic development team will assist the coaches to identify potential entrepreneurs among the participants in their groups. They will work closely with the coaches to develop the skills of these participants for self-employment (including business planning) and match the private sector needs with the skills of the participants.

2.1 Microbusiness Mentoring approach:
This includes the following elements:

2.1.1 Capacity building activities:
The parties agree on the participation of 6 (six) employees of the partner organization in the training blocks and peer exchange activities organized and
implemented by Swisscontact New Perspectives. These activities aim to increase the professional capacities of the employees of the partner organization in business mentoring and of aspiring entrepreneurs, identify the target group of the project, financial literacy, access to finances, savings, personal financial management, follow up on the activity progress and improve the exchange between mentors of different companies, to accompany young micro- entrepreneurs in the business path.

2.1.2 Implementation of the business mentoring processes:
Based on the skills gained during the training of mentors and the experience of the partner, the trained employees (the mentors) of the partner organization will work with young entrepreneurs with micro-businesses to support the development of their personal business, social, methodological, and occupational
competencies and empower them to successfully become long term entrepreneurs. These individuals are referred to as participants.
