Project title: Women Economic Empowerment Erseke, Vithkuq, Novosela

Overall Objective:

Revalorization of rural heritage to foster socio-economic development of Erseka, Vithkuq and Novosela.

Specific objective:

To offers an opportunity for women in personal development in terms of skills, but also in challenging and increasing their perceptions of themselves, and their economic role in the family and the wider community:

a) Follow-up of creative artifacts cooperative of Erseka women established and marketing of products (marrying tradition with modern trends) facilitated, utilizing the diaspora originating from the area
b) Follow-up support of Vithkuq women (Korça region), for access to markets for processed forest fruits and medicinal herbs, and hospitability services
c) Follow-up support of Novosela women (Vlora Region) to access markets with their wool and olive products

Main results
1. increased accountability among women members and enhanced their business cooperation;
2. improved the information and knowledge about market demands for their produce;
3. introduced the requirements of quality and hygiene aiming at improving the market offer with such added value
4. Women, members of the processing group gain skills for new marketable products.
